Fashionista? Nope, not really.
Let us start with this amazing song. Whether you like the song or not...I need you to watch it long enough to see Mariah Carey’s outfit. I tried to find a high quality image of it on the webs of the internet and was unsuccessful. So here we are!

8th Grade Grad Wins a Trip to NYC from a Scratch- Off Ticket
Ok, so maybe I created the scratch off ticket and really it was an 8th grade graduation gift... but either way we both won...because neither of us had been to the Big Apple. We're from a small town in Evansville, IN (Population: 118,588 -2019). The closest we've gotten to New York City is Chicago. We LOVE visiting downtown Chicago.

Here Birdy Birdy
In my previous article: I talked about my squirrel friends. Here we look at my bird friends! This was recorded with my iPhone tucked away between a tree branch...notice the epic fail at the end as it falls (thankfully into a soft pot of soil LOL).

6 Things that Perplex my Overthinking Brain.
1. Keyboard Warriors / "Karen's" I try not to complain on social media. I know better than to be openly vulnerable in a group page (namely on Facebook). I know that I might get 17 comments that empathize with whatever the complaint was about and 3 keyboard warrior Karen's. I also know that those 3 keyboard warriors are the ones that will ultimately make me feel the need to delete my post, leave the group, pack my belongings and move to another country.

Backyard Critters: Squirrel Edition
My favorite way to relax, is to sit in my kitchen chair, sip my coffee and watch my backyard friends munch away on their seeds. When I first lured a squirrel into my backyard, with an ear of corn, I was jumping for joy. For some reason these creatures have always fascinated me. I was determined to get as close as possible and hoped he (or she) would eat from the palm of my hand. We're still working on that part...

Vocal Tips & Tricks
You're probably wondering what sets my article apart from the other hundred related Vocal articles. I know I don't like asking for help. I try to google, research within a company's website, or find groups on Facebook. Even then, when I find said-facebook-group, I use the search feature in the group to see if anyone else has asked something first. I DON'T like asking for help. So if you're like me and you found yourself here, hi!

New Haven, MO
I knew I didn’t want to drive more than 3-4 hours for our 4-5 day miniature vacation. I kept searching AIRBNB for a cabin in the woods that was up to my liking. Sure, there were plenty of cabins out there...but there were a lot of them that looked run down or too “primitive” for my liking. I came across this cabin in New Haven, MO.

Chill, Cinematic, & Climactic Songs for the Utmost State of Relaxation
I came across a podcast called Lore. I was instantly HOOKED. The biggest problem for me was that I would have to re-listen to the podcast because I found myself OBSESSED with the music playing in the background. Lucky for me, Aaron Mahnke, the creator, writer, host, and producer of the show, says who the fantastic musician is providing these eerie tunes as an accompaniment. So, who is it, you're wondering? Chad Lawson is the mastermind Composer behind Lore.

Things Kids Say: Myth vs Fact
I got completely stuck on, “Who decides what is Common and Uncommon knowledge”? Some of the submissions I have read I thought... “EVERYONE knew that”... some I had NO IDEA what they were talking about...so I was having trouble coming up with what I deemed “Uncommon Knowledge”.
