Garlic Potato Soup
As the description denotes, this is not a measured recipe, nor is it a step by step follow along. Iâll try to remember this, the best I can, but I make no promises. I canât duplicate a recipe to save my life. I have written exact measurements down of things I have made in the past and still canât duplicate them. I look up recipes and use them as an outline. Donât have something? No problem! Iâll substitute it with whatever I have on hand. Donât like something? Leave it out! I guess you could say I am a natural cook. I just throw things in a pot and hope for the best. I would say 90% of the time it tastes great! Sure Iâve had some epic failures, but who hasnât even while following a recipe?

How to Support Artists you love
So you see an artist creating something cool, now what? The photo that was created from the above photos Perhaps their work is out of your price range or you just canât swing it at the moment. The easiest way to support their work is to interact with their social media accounts. Do you follow them on Instagram? Do they also have a Facebook? Follow them on all of their platforms if possible. If they donât have socia media (1. They should, 2. If they have a website, you could create your own post on Facebook to share their website since Instagram doesnât like websites in posts)

A Sea of Dreams
A Sea of Dreams What does that even mean? When the pandemic hit, I was confused. Confused about how long it would last. Confused about what was safe and what was not. Confused about the conflicting information circulating the media. I was just a ball of a confused and tangled mess. Letâs add into the equation my over thinking tendencies and empathic nature. Youâve just created a recipe for emotional disaster.

Hollywood, FL
Have you ever been to Hollywood, Florida? I had never heard of it until a few months ago. My family and I booked a cruise back in March of 2020 RIGHT BEFORE the pandemic hit. Ultimately, we werenât worried... I mean.. Coronavirus? This will last a few months and be done, right? WRONG. Our cruise was booked for the first week of February 2021. We had a 7 day cruise in the Western Caribbean booked through Carnival. We planned on driving 2.5 hours to Nashville, TN to fly directly to Miami, FL. We even had a hotel booked for the night before the cruise departed so we didnât feel rushed.

Faces
I am in my mid thirties. Ok fine, smack dab in the middle, I am thirty five. I am just now starting to see how the development in my small town is really emerging. We are still really far away from being a pedestrian friendly city, but I like to believe the thought process is there and in place.

The Bucket List
She was walking down the streets of downtown Chicago as always did. After all, Marissa loved the city and encapsulating its beauty by walking everywhere she possibly could. She needed to pick up a few things on her grocery list and noticed the forecast was calling for rain. As she came out of the corner store on Wabash & Ontario it started to downpour. Alongside of her was a gentleman, about the same age as her, hovering under the awning.
