In another part of "High Psychic" I embrace mental health once, again. This time I am taking on the holidays in all holiday spirit. The prices, the happiness and the stress in it all. We can not turn our backs on those who can't survive it. The mental strain turns to much on the day to day basis and with the holidays approaching we get put back into the hole. I know I have my fair share of family with mental health .One of those that has to be careful with their loved ones. How many of us has the same situation in this? We all can laugh over the strain and stress it is, but must take this seriously enough to not push over the edge. Christmas and other holidays that lay in tradition beat us every year that grows heavier and heavier. Looking on some dot orgs here is some facts we have. With what we all know as unrealistic expectation, financial pressures we all face it lays, too heavily upon us. While we pray for to God and celebrate his birth or in the religion we follow. We don't know how much we can make it through, but we always have that feeling as our loved ones go into it that we will survive it.

The Strain we Face

  • Financial
  • Unrealistic
  • Depression

Knowing these things help us over come what is beating us down in life and in holiday.

Back to the basic start of this, when I was a child I had no clue what it meant when my sister was diagnosis with anxiety. The cruel reality of what happened to here in the harshness. I could only imagine, but knowing you are not alone in life is the greatest. Here are some statistics on holiday mental illness, but my first my personal favorite is insomnia. The mental illness of staying awake. The number of cases from this is to much for the holidays. In my mind can be used for good. The reason though is it is way to dangerous, myself I am not a doctor as we know, but have learned a little.

Insomnia -

It gets more exciting especially researching insomnia. I can't help, but grow a buzz off of it. Where do you learn more about INSOMNIA, I started online. One of my favorite mental illness being a young male. One of the neatest is it isn't just staying awake, but poor qualities of sleep. To many of us, in my mind, face insomnia undiagnosed which leads to add stress. Which makes the holidays rougher. The cures are reducing behaviors that cause it or in worser cases, before depression sets in a doctor may prescribe sedatives for it.

Drinking and Eating -

In another light excessive drinking and eating causes abuse in which the holiday okays. It is the worse thing out here to be deprived of tradition, but even worse to abuse and ruin it. Making sure you stay safe and okay is a priority in everyone's mind. That beautiful dessert we can't resist.
