The Peep Show
Car in the drive-thru... Mom adjusts her breasts - nips flash. A man gets a show. (Y'all ready for this little snafu? Me, my mom, and aunt went to McDonalds, and we're sitting in the drive-thru. They are taking forever with someone's order, and we're past the order screen. There's a black truck in front of us. Mom says: "Oh my god, this bra is bugging me. I'm throwing it away when we get home." She reaches down and literally pulls her loose shirt down, and is like, fixing her breasts, pulling them out of the bra and repacking them in there trying to get comfortable. Mom's got big ones, okay? She had to get a boob job to add supportive silicone to help her back. So, those things are pretty noticeable. Especially to the man in front of us in a black truck, who had taken his reflective black sun glasses off, and leaned closer to his side mirror to get a better look at moms accidental peep show. Mom was so embarrassed when we noticed him basically drooling out his window, I thought we weren't going to get our food. LUCKILY the line moved then, so as my Aunt Cathy and I LAUGHED and LAUGHED and laughed some more... we inched forward to grab some fries.)

Body Language . Content Warning.
I won’t say your name—doing so feels like breaking a pact we never quite formalized. Even back then, I deliberately withheld your name in an attempt to keep things indistinct. But time has a way of clarifying what’s important, and this unresolved conversation we never had still occupies my thoughts. Interestingly, it’s a dialogue that has been silently evolving between us over the years, although its final chapter remains unwritten.
