It is a mistake
egregious to think
that we are not connected to each other.
You know, I read that scientists now know
it's true what Einstein theorized:
that the fabric of space and time ripples in waves
that the distance between me and you is so much more complicated
and close
and serendipitous
and dangerous
than expected.
And you know, I am so grateful
that the universe in its absolute wisdom
or absolute lack thereof
made the space between you and me just one cup of coffee:
oat milk
two Splendas
iced
the best I ever tasted.
Your hand reaching out to mine
to give it,
how I'll miss it.
How I'll remember you each time
I extend my hand that way.

Beautiful ❤️✨ I loved this
What a vivid and heartbreaking sensory memory. Time really does not exist, because it just takes one little thing to time travel in the mind and feel everything again.
Beautiful work! Lovely mix of love and coffee ❤️
Ava! You put Einstein and coffee together and still somehow managed to create something beautifully sweet! Bravo! 👏
I love the way you bring and frame life’s moments into the universal. 🙌🏻🙌🏻 your writing connects us all. Thank you for that!
That's so well written I'll forgive you for suggesting someone pollute a perfectly good cup (glass) of coffee! Silly comments aside, this is beautiful.
We all wire neurons to do things. Unwiring them is painful! Great write!
