Gone

An Eclipse Acrostic

Everything we were is gone forever, I lie

Curled up blank as paper on my bed

Longing to never see you again.

I remember when I believed you were

Perfection, hung on your every word,

Smiling to myself at your jokes hours later; all

Eclipsed by what you did, forever.

This is so well done… but heartbreaking. Hopefully you’ll find someone worthy & again be… ‘ Smiling to myself at your jokes hours later;’

Well. I am now eclipsed, after just reading your poem of longing for love...I now am here with the totally opposite of such. Ugh.Love. Whatchagonnado. Eclipsed love is the worst.
