Oh, the cutie,

you are here,

running on my fresh cookies,

inside the container.

Did you crawl in

When my mom cooked,

and packed them?

Anyway, now I'm here thousands of miles away,

from the village, so you are..

You are alone, not with me though!

Okay, let's have some cookies,

they are yummy right,

Pure mom's love cautiously mixed in..

Hey, little one,

never run here and there,

you'd get lost yourself!

Not even I don't know a bit,

here in this new state,

so how do you?

Wait till I return home next month,

I'll take care of you,

you miss your lovely family,

so do I.

Little cutie,

please be patient and see sharply,

you'll find the new things familiar soon,

yes, I promise, so soon!

Wow, you might be inspired by a real experience. Great reflection with a spread of mom's love. Take care of those ants😁.

It's a tender moment of connection between human & tiny creature... the playful attitude towards it , is an unexpected joy... A delightful poem to read!

  • The parallel drawn between the author's own feelings of being far away and the cutie's solitary presence adds depth to the narrative, it's a touching and relatable portrayal of longing for home and the hope for familiarity in new surroundings, thank you very much for sharing, love your works, hope to read more, subscribed.

  • Great and interesting work!
