The letters LGBTQ are just another way of saying that Love is Love.
Personality versus Outward Appearances
Some of you may be wondering why I chose to use an artistic depiction of a tire swing to coincide with an article that is on the topic of human superficiality. I think I'll explain it like a parable. The tire swing is not your typical swing found at most parks. There have been many man-made swings, but the standard swing is not meant to spin and is designed in most cases for one person to sit on. The tire swing is unique because not only is it an upcycle (saving the planet from tires dumped at the bottom of the ocean or rivers) it also can carry two children, swing back and forth, and spin for delirious enjoyment. I think of the tire swing the way I think of how people can sometimes get bent out of shape regarding how people look. Some care nothing about it, while others care too much about it. Most lack a good balance. When someone isn't by standard definition of "attractive" or "beautiful" they are often described as having a great personality, to soften the judgements of those who have not met the person before and introduce them as desirable regardless. Let's say a standard swing is the normal definition of "attractive" or "beautiful", and the tire swing has a great personality. Now you understand the connection.

The Horrors of Extremism: A Tragic Execution in Mosul
In 2015, the world was once again reminded of the brutalities inflicted by ISIS when a man in Mosul, Iraq, was publicly executed by being thrown from a tall building. His crime, as alleged by the extremist group, was homosexuality. This tragic event not only highlighted the ruthless measures ISIS employed to enforce their strict interpretation of Islamic law but also brought into stark relief the group's campaign against what they termed "sexual deviance."

We are 6 months into 2024 and I haven’t achieved all my goals yet.
We are 6 months into 2024 and I haven’t achieved all my goals yet. Let’s be true to ourselves, this is the stance of millions worldwide. We all have made our New Year resolutions and have faltered in our discourse of being consistent and true about it. To be consistent in your stance, you need clarity and focus on what you are headed towards, when the head is lost in aimless directions of what should be, we lose our sight of what we are and where we should be headed. In absolute honesty, I too was directionless in the first 6 months of my existence in 2024. To give you more insight into my journey here is my account of the first half of 2024-

Addressing Homophobia in the Baseball Community
As Pride Month nears to a close, I wanted to discuss something that I found not only disturbing, but disappointing. 29 of the Major League Baseball teams had celebrated Pride Night at their ballparks every year, but there's one team that currently doesn't and that is the Texas Rangers. Yes, you heard that right. The defending World Series Champions have yet to promote something like this. In the over 50 years that the Rangers have been in Texas, it's sad that this has remained an issue. According to a recent article from NBC5 DFW, MLB Diversity Officer Billy Bean, who came out as gay after his playing career concluded, stated that a Pride Night would take place at Globe Life Field at some point, which is the current home of the Rangers and the site of next month's All-Star Game. As an owner of a MLB team, you can't say that you welcome everyone at baseball games and exclude a certain group of people. It doesn't work that way, it's hypocritical, and you don't practice what you preach. You can't also say that there's events for everyone at Globe Life Field and the organization supports all causes in one breath and exclude a group of people the next. Again, it doesn't work that way. If you want to have an inclusive baseball community, then you have to apply and extend that towards everyone and that includes LGBTQ+ people.

International Yoga Day Cultivating Mindfulness for Inner Peace and Balance
Observed annually on June 21st, International Yoga Day is a significant global celebration that shines a spotlight on the traditional practice of yoga and its wide-ranging advantages for the body, mind, and spirit. Originating in ancient India, yoga has become a widely embraced holistic approach to enhancing mental and physical well-being on a worldwide scale. In the following discussion, we will delve into the importance of International Yoga Day and examine the positive effects that yoga can have on mental health. To establish harmony between the body, mind, and spirit, yoga is a comprehensive system that incorporates physical postures (asanas), controlled breathing techniques (pranayama), meditation, and ethical principles. Yoga's very name, which signifies the harmonious unification of diverse elements within an individual, means union. Positive social relationships are a common outcome of individual yoga practice, and offering affordable or complementary classes to those with limited financial means allows more people to experience the benefits of inner peace and physical wellness.

The "for happiness" trap of parents who have children too young
"Becoming a mother in your twenties" - a title that is curious enough to make several hundred thousand people stop surfing the video, watch and interact. Next are scenes recording a day of a young family of 3, but if only looking at their appearance, they cannot be more than 25 - an age that is still very "green" to receive the "sweet fruit" of marriage. a handsome boy. In the comments section, netizens massively "prayed" for happiness like the young family. The same thing happens under posts shared by young "hot moms", "hot couples" across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Threads. It's easy to see that getting married early is an idea that has a certain appeal to young people.
