The myth of a cupid and psyche
The myth of a cupid and psyche "Being beautiful is a curse," Psyche thought to herself as she peered over the edge of the cliff where her father had abandoned her. Given her flawless physical attributes from birth, people revered her as a fresh manifestation of Venus, the goddess of love. However, genuine romantic partners were too afraid to even come near her. The Oracle of Apollo, the deity of light, reason, and prophecy, was consulted by her father for advice. It was instructed for him to leave his daughter on a steep crag, where she would marry a vicious, winged, serpentine enemy. Zephyr the West Wind, leaving Psyche alone on the cliff, softly lifted her into the air.

Social anxiety?
When I was little, before school and in the first years of school, I used to find friends easily and I wanted to participate everywhere in school. However, later, when I changed the school, bullying started. Since then it seemed that everything changed, I wasn’t the same courageous girl who wanted to participate everywhere.

Exercise The Spirit & Soul Pt. 1. Content Warning.
It’s funny how our bodies are consistently finding ways to betray us. No matter how much you invest into your vessel, it is built to sabotage itself and doesn’t mind taking you down with it. It truly scares me to hear and/or see people treat the human body like it’s some Magnum Opus of God. “The body is the temple”, they say, and there’s no reason to disagree with that. Still, let’s skip the superfluous philosophical speech by calling this flesh costume exactly what it is. It is a disloyal cowardly tool for spiritual growth that becomes a prison for many who know not the reality of materials. Honestly, the human body is no more (nor less) sacred than the toilet paper you wipe your ass with.

Afeared
He has me, mama! He has me! Ne’er a day devoid of dreadful weeping—Mournful Sorrow claps to applaud Misery whilst it dances its best on the stage called my life. The blanket of hope has long since been immolated to keep the venomous fireplace alive. The very one I warm my hands with to stave off the brittle existence that lurks upon my shoulders. I am but a lost and forlorn entity ripe with exhilarating sadness. Hoorah to the masses who plague my mind with their incessant banter.

The Next Great Mental Health Crisis May Have Arrived
Author's preface: This story is primarily targeted to my neighbors in the small community where I live, but as a warning to the larger global community I felt I should go public with the issue that has hit my own neighborhood very hard. To any of my neighbor's who may be reading this I say congratulations for taking this very difficult first step toward healing. Know that I am here to support you in whatever limited way I can. To everyone else, I hope you can take what you learn from this story back to your own communities and spread the word. This is a global issue and the more awareness we raise the better. We can get through this, but only if we work together and know the signs to look for so we can quickly identify those who truly need help before it is too late save them.

Power of Daydreaming
“Life is intrinsically, well, boring and dangerous at the same time.” - Edward Gorey. On any given day, you might spend a third to half of your waking hours daydreaming. That might sound like a colossal waste of time, but scientists believe there’s a reason behind it. After all, humans wouldn’t have evolved to do it so much if it wasn’t beneficial. So, what’s really happening when our minds wander? Let’s dive into the world of daydreaming, starting with the ultimate mind-wanderers: bored teenagers.
