Rising Up Against Our Oppressors
Huntington, WV,. circa 1996, verses present day. Not really different, honestly. Bigots, oppression, aren't, hidden in hick-town. They say the truth will set you free, know one, knew that it depends who it comes from. I love West Virginia for two reasons: One, it does take a person long to share their true colours. Two, I love how huntington is wrapped around the Appalachian Mountains. It's like a mount wrapped around a castle so to speak.

When The Pain Is Unescapable . Content Warning.
The journey in trying to move forward from the pain of the darkness hasn't been easy. I'm in love with the south how easy it is here. I don't want to recall my terrible memories; don't want to be remember them.I just want to wash my hands of the past, so I can flourish in the light. The hurt I experienced for one year. I just want to reinvent myself. What no one understands I don't want to be reminded. I say, I don't want to be reminded, yet this is wrong respected.

I Dropped Out This Semester!
Walking away from a dream can be difficult, despite good intentions. It's important to recognize when it's not worth fighting and step back. Have you ever noticed that when you kill one month, six or seven more appear? Have you ever observed how toxic people tend to come together like a pack of wolves?

My Journey Home To Southern Bell
Three and a half days, it's already been jammed pack with new opportunities, and a new chapter of uncharted waters. Huntington a small city that reminds me of Brunswick. The city is as though it's been carved out from the Appalachian Mountains. There are so many members from my childhood in Wayne, WV.

When Everything happens all at Once. Content Warning.
Has anyone ever felt overwhelmed when to many things happen all at once? Like it's so much to take in. We don't know what to say or do. Like everyone is moving quickly and we are lingering slowly. Sometimes I wish the world would slow down. For things not to happen all at once so I can catch up.

The Downfall of Dan Schneider. Content Warning.
As a Millennial watching this documentary series this really ruined my childhood for many reasons. As an adult, all these skits, and jokes I thought were harmless were actually extremely dark jokes, and sexual innuendos. I never thought Nickelodeon would do this. However, all of us know about the Hollywood industry is very dark, and merky.

LouLou's Writing Journey
As you all might know, my writing style is always changing. I love experimenting with different styles and tones. Some would say if I were more well-known I am the chameleon of writing. I think what makes me feel stood out is how I know what my demographic loves and enjoys reading. I think for a lot of poeple writing can be difficult because we all are looking for that certain style. However, when it comes to writing, blogging, or writing our manuscripts it's important to set the tone. Instead of acting like we writers know everything I try to remember to stay modest.
