You and I

Watching her through the mirror, I finally see.

In glimpses of time, I let a few monsters in, now I set them free!
Almost drained my soul and clouded my mind; till I had forgotten about me, you and I.
Healing has no end, just new levels to reach.
I was never lost, just hiding deep inside of me.
In order to heal the inner child, you have to do the work! You must Open all the files, of fear, insecurity, shame, sadness, abandonment and anger. So, you can learn to love; what each test has molded you to be.

You have to love the Adult you too!
Remember you are safe now & release the hurt.
Know that you are loved by the best and ignore the rest. Love yourself 1st and trust the universe to continue to carry you, and keep you and I.

Watching her through the mirror, I see No Flaws at All! Just carefully crafted with God's intent. Now realizing only, the man-made beauty standards placed the flaws in her mind. Only the ones we call family, points out the mistakes. Only the trusted as friend, judges what they can't control within. While the enemy tries to compete, where they can't compare.

Watching her in the mirror, she looks so different now. Time has aged her gracefully, her child like smile has returned as if to say, "You are RARE & Magical"! Her bold brown eyes, wildly scanning in surprise, she had never seen this Divine being before! Confident from root to crown, levitating from the past. Hair flowing down her shoulders, happy and healthy, you are a Brave Warrior of Life! Uniquely Gifted, and expressing those gifts to the world, with every new night and each new day.

The dark shadows she carried have begun to fade, one by one.
Proudly watching her in the mirror, for she is me, she you and I.

We look Successful now, because we lived, we loved, we cried, we survived, we laughed, we lost, and we won again! You and I.
