Pandemonium in the mind

When nights become days

And days become nights

The mind gets foggy

And imagination runs

Wild!

What if this happens?

What if that occurs?

Save me from my mind

Save me from my soul

Save me from these things

If they become real

Be honest with me!

Just tell me the truth

If there is even a truth; that is

Clock strikes twelve

Worry strikes mind

Mind tortures soul

Soul tires mind

It goes on and on

Till I drift a-

way-

To this…dark-

ness and calm…

Where these thoughts flow

Without my control

Love the tone of this - and very relatable! ☺️👏

I agree with Celia about the lines that really stick out. This is so beautifully done.

These lines work so so well: Worry strikes mind Mind tortures soul Soul tires mind Beautifully done and resonated so much. Felt like living insomnia and the overwhelm of the day 🤍

The bold and italics do help give out the chaotic emotion. It's what the mind feels like during a memory of a traumatic event, a panic attack, or your mind racing. Fantastic job.

  • It was a rollercoaster of a mind of a common person and that of an artist. I like the way you used the fonts to express differing emotions. Keep writing! Looking forward to more of your creative works. This is not your best creative work, rather one of the many creative works.
