Oh Jan e Mann!

Prose poem

Oh Jan e Mann!

Grass grows beside a solitary stone

it means your memories are still alive in my heart fossilized

if a colorful bird alights upon it and sings

it is our shared dream

if a cloud lingers overhead

it is a promise made in a dry season of love

if a snake slithers by it

it is a love-rival that always intrigued against us

if a dog is sitting there

it is our reliable friend

but if the grass blossoms into flowers

and their fragrance fills my inner atmosphere

it means you are on your way

by the way, where are you, Oh Jan e Mann!

Note: Jan e Mann: Oh my life
