When Words Run Dry

By Rowan Finley Published 5 years ago 1 min read

The most grandiloquent of words could not describe who you are,

the most brilliant of minds just could not even understand or get that far,

to fathom your strength and beauty and mystic,

for years and centuries they may try to seek,

to understand,

to find that you are grand.

Shimmering glamorously and stately like a chandelier,

because you are out of this world, out of this atmosphere,

the level of intelligence and forethought that you possess,

is far more than could ever be understood, thus to confess,

to mention,

to show such pretention.

Powerful and ferociously brave like a lion at war,

knowing the beginning and the end and everything in store,

being ever-present and full of passionate love,

always ready for a battle for your beloved thereof,

to exhibit gentleness,

to show such tenderness.
