I feel so numb-

The rain is pouring right through me.

Seeing ghosts— your memory is killing me.

Clear my throat— before I lie and say I’m fine.

No scapegoat— I must admit that I’m to blame.

Feel no shame anymore—

Can’t remember your name anymore.

Being loved is not the same anymore.

Drugs don’t even numb the pain no more.

Everything has changed— Now the ghost of you is my worst pain.

Told you to stop playing games with my heart— It ain’t easy to tear me apart.

Rub numbing on my feelings to stop the tears from draining the empathy I have left.
