Motivation
I have this great app on my phone, it’s called “Motivation Quotes.” And, it’s exactly what it sounds like. Twice a day, for me at 9 AM, and then at 9 AM, I get a short motivational quote or saying. I get one as I’m getting ready for the day, and as I’m winding down for the night. If I’m being totally honest, a lot of the times, I’m so caught up in making sure that I’m up and ready in time for work in the morning, or in the evening, I’m usually still cramming in schoolwork at school, that I tap the notification or swipe it to make it go away before even reading it. It’s a bad habit, as reading these quotes takes literally just seconds of my time.

What Teddy Said
I love former President Theodore Roosevelt, AKA Teddy Roosevelt, AKA TR. My all-time favorite quote is also one from TR: “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” It is so integral to my life, past and present, it deserves a separate post of reflection. Wake Up Call
What's a sad characteristic of the human race is that significance is lost as a result of repetition. That means if you hear a phrase over and over, you'll stop giving it the power that it has. This is unfortunate because there is power in what we call: clichés. There are clichés that we've heard a million times and as a result, we're numb to it. We hear them and go, "Yeah, yeah, yeah." Well if that's you, I have news for you...WAKE THE FUCK UP.

5 Jonathan Van Ness Quotes to Get You Through the Day
Jonathan Van Ness is the grooming queen of Queer Eye's fab five, and we all wish he was our best friend, not only because he'd totally glam us up but also because everything he says is both iconic and real AF. He’s also so much more than just the grooming member of the team. I feel he goes a long way in teaching the people they help on the show, and us, about the importance of self-care and how it important it is for our health and well-being. With that said, here are just a few things he's said to give you a little motivation today and hopefully make you smile.
