Why All Of Your Plans Keep Failing

It Comes Down To A Few Psychophysiological Factors

By Cody Dakota Wooten, C.B.C.Published about a month ago 5 min read

Everyone comes across Failure on their Path to Success.

However, some people find Failure... Far Too Often to make it coincidence.

You may feel like you don't have what it takes, or you're missing the drive, or the passion...

But you also know that is Not True.

You Know you have What It Takes.

You Know you have the Drive.

You Know you have the Passion.

Yet that Success still Eludes you.

Do you wonder Why that is?

Well, there is a very high likelihood that it isn't your fault.

There are a couple aspects of Psychophysiology that are rarely taught to people, and one of them (or maybe most of them!) have been standing in your way for a long time.

So, what are they?

What keeps All of your Plans from Succeeding?

The first thing that you must understand is that "Learning" is not enough.

Most people believe that if they "Know" what to do, it'll just "Happen".

However, this is Far from the Truth.

In all actuality, most people actually Know what they need to do, or at the very least have a good idea, but they still "Don't".

That is because Knowledge itself is only a Piece of the Puzzle.

You Must Transition the Knowledge to Practice, which means working "With" your Psychophysiology.

That is generally where most people have the hardest time.

Their Efforts are working Against their Bodies, and the Body quite Naturally Retaliates back, preventing their Success.

But how does that play out?

One of the Most Common ways you see this happen is that the Plans are Unsustainable.

I have seen this from Business to Fitness and Diet.

Usually Plans Fail because it is Impossible for us to Maintain the Efforts Sustainably.

In Entrepreneurship, this is trying to contact 500 people a day in Desperation to get any Deals.

In Business, it is working 80 Hour Weeks thinking that the Body will Not Retaliate.

In Fitness, it is Running Miles Daily when you have barely walked for Years.

In Diet, it is doing a Completely Drastic Diet that doesn't give your Body the Nutrients that are Necessary to do Basic Daily Functions.

In all of these scenarios, and more, the Body cannot keep up with the Demands of those Efforts.

In Technical Terms, you need Energy (Mg-ATP) to Accomplish these, but the "way" these Unsustainable Plans are done Prevents the Body from making Enough.

When the Body is Unable to make Enough Energy (Mg-ATP), it will figure out ways to Retaliate against the Efforts that are Draining what little Energy (Mg-ATP) there is.

What you are Experiencing is a Survival Mechanism.

However, if you can get Sustainability figured out, another Problem generally occurs.

Whatever the Plan is, it doesn't include a Habit.

Habits are Developed over time, 66 Days on Average.

That is over 2 Months Straight, of you doing the same exact thing, over and over again, day in and day out.

Most people stop after 1 week.

Another large group of people stop after 30 days.

Few ever make it to 66 Days, and then Stick with it after.

I see it Frequently as a Writer - Tens of Thousands of Individuals Fail to even get past 4 Written Pieces, let alone 66.

However, for Long-Term Success, you "Must" make things a Habit.

You can't Start a Business unless you can make Sales Consistently.

Employees can't hit Goals unless there are Daily Minimums they Consistently Reach.

You will Never Stay Fit if you can't Exercise Consistently.

Your Diet will Never Work unless you can Consistently Stick with it, Ideally for the Rest of your Life.

Many people believe Success comes from Short but Extreme Action, but that is a Path that "Always" leads to Disappointment.

Long-Term and Small Consistent Actions will Always Outcompete.

There is another challenge that comes after this though.

Most people Do Not Play into their Strengths.

See, we as Human Beings Enjoy being Awesome!

When are we Most Awesome?

It is when we Use our Strengths!

But so often people Focus on their Weaknesses Exclusively.

The Problem here is that as much as we Love Being Awesome, we equally Despise Being Awful.

Where are we at our Most Awful?

In our Weaknesses.

So when we Focus on our Weaknesses, we Feel Awful, and we Despise that Psychologically, so we then Avoid It.

However, when we play into our Strengths, we Feel Awesome, and we Love Feeling that Psychologically, so we Seek It Out.

What is Interesting is that when we Play into our Strengths, often our Weaknesses become Unnecessary to Use, or we find Small Ways to Improve those Weaknesses along the way while Focused on our Strengths.

The latter is what would be called the "Halo Effect".

When we Focus on Improving One Aspect of our Lives, other Aspects begin to Also Improve Indirectly.

This happens most Easily when we play into those Strengths.

But, there is still One More thing that could be Standing in your way, and it is a Problem for 80% of people.

Burnout.

See, when we are In Burnout, we are "Literally" Unable to Change.

Burnout itself is a Survival State, and Growth cannot occur in Survival States.

For Growth to Occur, you must have Enough Energy (Mg-ATP) to Consistently Do Something until it becomes a Habit.

But in Burnout, You Have No Energy (Mg-ATP) left, and your Body is Literally Tearing Itself Apart.

Until you get Out of Burnout, which will Require Recovery including Healing Stress Damage (aka Oxidative Stress) which will further Require Ceruloplasmin to Accomplish, you will be Unable to Grow.

If you do not do this First, All of your Plans will Fail because you simply Will Not have the Energy (Mg-ATP) to make them work.

All of these Factors are Reasons Why Most People Fail Consistently.

If you Fail to Work With Your Psychophysiology, You Will Fail to Succeed.

However, if you begin to work "With" Your Psychophysiology, there are few things that could ever prevent Your Success.
