The Dishonesty of Humanity

An unidentified person stole my laptop. I started to think the worse of humanity. This is my thought process on how that all changed.

I was awaiting for my laptop to come through the mail it was supposed to come on the 16th, of January. The delivery company partnered with Walmart had delayed the timing. Unfortunately deemed to be on time I received a phone call from the driver while I was on my way to College Writing II. After a few hours excited, I received the box just the laptop wasn't inside of it.

The proof is in the video I posted all over social media. I want to share my story and warn others when anyone thinks this can't happen to them it happens.

I should have went to Best Buy, honestly, I have been on a walmart strike for months anyways. Walmart in the Steelyard Commons are really ghetto. I mean I am know stranger to the ghetto but honestly what really makes me mad is when I have experienced the store stealing from me. And the worse thing imaginable Walmart has denied allegations even when I show them the evidence. They won't authorize a refund. So as a last attempt I made a GoFundMe called Project Laptop just so I can get the help I need. 318.00 may not be a lot of money to some but it's a lot of money for me. Also, a word of caution to everyone reading the truth of fortune five hundred companies have no humanity and will steal from their customers.

If something is to good to be true on online shopping stores it usually is.

Your being watched I mean in the footage he is clearly scoping out the place for cameras. This was thanks to my landlord. But I learned something from all this I will never go to walmart ever again.

Even though my item was stolen I don't know how it is possible but I still have faith when it comes to people. I still just don't know if I can trust easily like I used to.

On the plus side, remembering that God will provide whatever I need I have been fortunate that my laptop hasn't crashed (knock on wood!).

I still believe people are good at heart even though a lot of toxic people are on this Earth!!!

It baffles me as to why people do what they do? What angers me even more toxic people get away with it. While good people we play by the rules and the toxic people kick dust in our faces while they walk away scathed free.

I think from personal experience the fact nice people finish last is very relevant. From my childhood, verses now navigating through the shark pool is very much true.

"The world is full of wolves in sheep's clothing. It is important to play the game with strong intent."

The game I speak of is making sure I am treated fairly. No one else is going to help me so I must help myself. I learned the game and had to navigate it for myself.

However, it can be very tedious when I've been in a new culture for two years. I come back to America been here for a year, and I'm really annoyed with the game I've been playing for nearly all my life.

So far, I have learned working so hard constantly can be very rewarding. But also, very tiresome.
