Wounded World

We wish, we want, we wait

By Ashley ClarkPublished about a year ago 1 min read

We wake wild-eyed

With woes warping

What we watch

Where we wander

Who we welcome

When we’re well-behaved

When we’re wicked

When

We’re

Whole

We warily work when worries wrestle with wanting

Willpower wilting

Warmth withdrawing

We wonder, when will we wake without woe

Wars waged without wisdom

We wish whole-heartedly

We wait wistfully

Withering while we worship wealth
