Wistful
I don’t need to go back in time
For he is here at last to meet
His youngest niece and nephew
To hug again his first one
And look upon them with pride
To play and run and sing along
To dress up in capes and fly
To laugh a booming laughter
And tickle giggles from them
To talk philosophy
With his favourite nephew
To try on many hats with
His favourite pair of nieces
To see the smile in their eyes
As they watch their Uncle fly
With a wistful smile on my lips
I sadly wake up from my dream.
