Wine-Dark Sea

On The Dizzying Lust Of Our Inner Selves

Soft promises, an ethereal fog clouding the mind.

A sort of acceptance of the absurd ; I'll just do whatever I want.

One's inner desires, wishes, laid bare. My own witness

Now come, kiss me, my unlikely lover,

discovered through the cracks of time and drunkenness,

lover of visceral fantasies

Corners of dusty rusty desires and secret wishes,

repressed and cast aside, bursting forth upon the sheer lack of innhibition,

upon the ritual of the aqua vitae, the chalice of life,

the memento mori, the, who actually cares that much anyway

Tomorrow, let us pretent to have forgotten,

pretend that nothing happened,

and wonder if it was all fantasy.

Now come, embrace me, let me whisper your name in your ear,

let our minds and bodies

be engulfed in a wine-dark sea
