I fly from cinci to LA
Chasing the sun across the sky
I tell my brain to shut off
But it’s soaring too high
Press my face to the window
Counting clouds against the blue
Chew up every moment
Take what I’m due
Life’s better when you think
It’s about to fly off the rails
Smash expectations with a brick
Crash through the supposed to bes
My biggest fear is
Dying without living
So cling onto the sides
And let yourself scream
I drive from dawn until dusk
Chasing the feel of the high
Press the pedal to the floor
Wonder what it’s like to fly
Free from the worries
The wind sweeps them away
Chew up every sentence
What I need to say
