Tis the season

Our world

By Gregory AndersonPublished 7 months ago 1 min read

Tis the season for giving

Tis the season for receiving

So many in the world are perceiving

Choices and consequences have many grieving

Facing the ills of our nation have many packing and leaving

While the weight of these times have the dreamers receding

Just as a logger in the forrest bares down with his axe of our plight these are the facts

Tis the season for us all to see our first steps must be camaraderie

We must set aside our differences that give birth to pain

That unyielding drive which makes you only think about personal gain

The internal darkness which can drive one insane

Tis the season

Let us give a gift we each can afford

Changing our hearts and coming together in one accord

Compassion can wash us and give us the chance to renew

Now that you know there is a choice what will you do
