Marshmallow, daft eyes the accumulation
of sugary release is not the right recipe
for sweet dreams - though it mixes excellent
with the toss and turns of “Why isn’t it morning?”
Puffy, pillowed lids accentuate sugar cubes
round in shape that melts effortlessly
into brewing thoughts - a cup full of bitter and
bold with a tad bit of “How is it already morning?”
Taffy-pulled lashes elongate the afternoon
by hyper-chewing to slowly absorb the
salty daydreams - a cellophane lunch
of nitty-gritty wonder “When will evening roll in?”
Sticky, bland lids the carrageenin
rubber band effect of timely sugary release
opens another night - a bubble blown up by
pacing to and fro with “How is it already bedtime?”
