It is the middle of a boiled egg

that is squishy and malleable -

No

incorrect the center is the yoke.

It is the middle layer of a boiled egg

the amniotic sack turned white -

the layer that wraps the truth

yellow essence, center of gold.

It is the layer just beneath the shell

of hardened emotions -

casing which wraps the truth

there is more to be revealed.

It is this calcified shield holding

all the goo and the gold

lodged in tight spaces

It is what keeps the words

all the honey and the justice -

lodged in the esophagus.
