mistaken for the weak,

desperation only calls

on those who can't see,

drifted by the breeze,

who they really are

lives deep beneath the trees,

not nearly what you seek

but you'll find it in the stars,

not nearly what you need

but all you really want,

something i could feel

a happenstance turned real

moving pictures all around me

but there, you stand still,

days, they pass

but time will always cease

at the sight of you sleeping

soundly in my dreams.

The inscrutable intangibility of that which does not feed yet provides all the satisfaction, comfort & peace within us to make us forget whatever other necessities there might be. Beautifully expressed.
