You’re on the precipice of something looming
You feel as if there’s buzzing in the air
But you cannot tell what the next turn will be
If only you could see more clearly and be more aware.
Whatever pathway the road may take for you
You’re sure that someday life will tell
The secrets that are meant for you to know
The longings in your heart you feel all too well.
Dreams and visions flood your mind
While restlessness stirs the air all around
You know that whatever may come to you
That peace and surety of well-being will abound.
There is a confidence in your step and breath
Life was meant for you to know in every measure
Your senses are too keen to always understand
This life is an unknown, well-kept treasure.
If only your mind and soul would merge
So you would know what your heart doth say
Then each night you would sleep with wild abandon
Knowing each day would afford a glimpse of the way.
