It’s ok if one sudden day,
You wake up and not text
‘Good morning’
.
It’s ok if one sudden day,
You stop sending snaps
Of what you ate
.
It’s ok if one sudden day,
You don’t feel like
Cursing people with me
.
It’s ok if one sudden day,
You stop calling me at mid-night
When you’re bored
.
It’s ok if one sudden day,
You decline
To create goofy memories
.
It’s ok if one sudden day,
You forgot to buy chocolates for me
When you buy one for yourself
.
It’s ok if one sudden day,
You choose not to
Share every details of your weekend
.
It’s ok if one sudden day,
You don’t feel like
Calling me ‘friend’
.
It’s ok if one sudden day,
You walk past me
And sit with someone else
.
It’s ok if one sudden day,
You won’t wait for me
While I’m tying my shoelace
.
It’s ok if one sudden day,
You forgot to call me
When you’re drunk
.
It’s ok if one sudden day,
You look at them
The way you looked at me, and smirked
.
It’s ok if one sudden day,
You try to match your laugh
With theirs; gazing eyes and lips
.
It’s ok if one sudden day,
You forget me
Forget my existence
.
It’s ok
Your smile will forever
Reflect in my eyes
.
It’s ok
You jasmine smell will forever
Roam around my nostrils
.
It’s ok
Your soft touch will forever
Tickle all over my skin
.
It’s ok
Your sweet chuckle will forever
Echo in my ear
.
It’s ok
The imaginary taste of your saliva will forever
Slide through my tongue
.
It’s ok
You will forever
Remain with me
Remain within me
And I will clutch you
Won’t let you go
Every day and everywhere
.
