MY HEATHER

from your well wisher

MY HEATHER

Drowned wholly onto those

Intimidating, seductive

Eyes of yours

Picturing us together

Holding hands, safe and secure

.

Yet just remained as

A dream or theatrics

Felt the few meters, reshaping

Eventually, many many miles

.

Despite your lack of affection

I, had already kissed you

Somewhere deep

Somewhere dark

Somewhere up in my head

.

The smile on your cheeks

Every so often her shadow appeared

Behold of those reflections

Dim and pale

Still, satisfying for this heart

.

Fantasized, maybe, my hands

Above yours

Just when saw hers, interlocked

‘we’ laughed and kissed

Just when it wasn’t ‘us’

.

Excellent work again! I will revisit this for a re-read.
