In Silent Harmony

A sonnet of unspoken words and admiration.

By KBPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

I ponder over Summer’s brightest day

While sitting here on soft but stony sands

Feverishly writing words I can’t say

And hoping that someday somewhere, it lands.

***

Lands in the hands of who I used to know

To mark the very moment that we cried,

Cried tears of joy from all of our sorrow

That had been swept away at our collide.

***

This collision tasted sweet as ice cream

That we licked from the dripping chocolate cone

As the light of your eyes glisten and beam,

Knowing that I no longer am alone.

***

Like we’ve laid in our harmonious silence,

These secret words shall share our beautiful alliance.
