Fiery eyes tell the story

of a soul faded glory.

A soul left to rot

But still torn a part.

By the scavengers

Who ate even the heart.

These eyes burn third degree,

If you fail to find the key.

That unlocks the pain and sets it free.

It won’t be easy to turn it though.

The lock is rusty, so turn it slow.

Now see what lies below.

At first, it seems there are only ashes.

Then it’s revealed when seeing with new glasses.

The fire is dimmer underneath but stronger.

A beautiful soul will hurt no longer.

Oh fiery eyes make us wonder.
