Cracked

Cracked

She was cracked before she had a chance.

Never able to overcome her circumstance.

No one noticed her poor behavior was an act.

The main reason she never covered her tracks.

The petty crimes eventually began to advance-

Dying to steal any reaction that lasts longer than a glance.

Childhood trauma stole her hope.

The scars were too deep to ever cope.

If only the people around her saw her pain.

Maybe the girl could have learned to change.

Now people will know her name.

Not for her strengths or skills

but for the life left unfulfilled.

Now she sits like stone for someone to visit.

Counting the cracks in the wall above her bed.

This is the cost of being misled.

Cracked before she had a chance.

Cracks and fractures are synonymous..... It takes about 900lbs of force to fracture a bone. To the contrary, the cells, blood vessels and callus that heal a fracture are so minute you need a microscope to see them. Day 1 you don't see any signs of healing and you don't feel any different. Day 2 still no real evidence of change on the surface. However, underneath the surface there are millions of neurons and cells working feverishly to make you not only whole but actually stronger than before. The beauty of a fracture, crack or broken bone is when it heals.........you end up stronger more resilient more determined and more unrelenting than before. A broken bone always heals with time. Cracks aren't a sign of weakness. They'r the evidence of places we need more support. Welcome every crack with open arms. Nature's nature is abundance and healing. Let the universe fill every gap and every crack until your foundation is stronger than ever!! Even a broken clock tells the right time twice a day.
