I found your neatest handwriting,

Telling us how to divvy up your things.

I found the money you left in my account,

With the caption ‘closing time darling’.

I found your empty coffee mug outside,

Where you spent all your final days.

I found that my days seem noisier now,

That the world is without my Dad.

I found the wisdom you always had,

I think you left it behind for me.
