Reaching Satisfaction in Life
Have you ever felt like you can't seem to figure out just who you are or meant to be? Are you tired of everyone else telling you who to be instead of helping you discover your own self for certainty? Well I'll tell you this right now. List what you know about yourself. If you're wondering why, you're about to find out.

I. Am. Sorry.
I am sorry. You have said this time and time again and you feel the meaning is becoming hazy. If you're like me, you might have found yourself trying too hard to make others happy for you, or you do everything you can to cheer up a friendly face, but you leave your needs and feelings un-attended. But, when it gets to the point where you can't even face yourself in the mirror or even make eye contact with the people you see everyday, it can be even more stressful on you. My recommendation is to take this time to say that you're sorry. Not to anyone in particular, but yourself.

How YOU Can Be a Little Better Than Yesterday
You know, sometimes when you think that the world just sucks and you just want to just scream and yell at your puppy for no apparent reason... don't. That puppy did nothing to you except pee on the carpet last week while you were at work but that's okay. Puppies do that. Or maybe because you just haven't potty trained them, who knows? The point is, taking out your negative feelings on an innocent life form is pointless. How about instead you just let them know "DON'T PEE ON THE CARPET!" until they get it. Things like that take time. Just like babies, you have to potty train them or else they'll pee on the carpet too, except in their diapers. But here are some ways that you can be a better person without exerting all that negative energy:

It Will Be Okay
Okay, so I do not identify as a scholar or writer. I am often surprised by how creative I can be. Perhaps I shouldn't be surprised, after all, I am left-handed and there is a multitude of research that proves that left-handed people are more creative than their right-handed peers. Anyway, this is not relevant to why I decided to write this piece. I am not trying to earn your trust or provide my credentials. The permission I have to write about this subject is the fact that I AM HUMAN! I am flawed, misguided, impulsive, free-spirited, a little chubby, and sort of lazy but I am also kind, thoughtful, giving, and considerate of others.

Being Happy
Picture this: you're lying in bed trying to sleep, but you're too stressed about all of your responsibilities to even begin to relax. Your mind starts to wander and you think about your life as it is right now. You ask yourself if you're doing well, if you're on a path to success, if you're really happy. Most of us have experienced this moment (or ones similar to it), but have any of us figured out the answer to those questions? No. But that's totally okay! We're not supposed to have our lives figured out yet. We're not supposed to be living perfect lives. Our only duty at this age is to be true to ourselves and do what makes us happy.

Who Are You
Who Are You? Is that a question that you have asked yourself? I have, and the answers are not always the ones that I want to hear. If you have asked this question and created an answer that best suits your taste then you are screwed. The way to answer the question is by being more than honest with yourself. It may hurt at first but it can help in the long run. Have you ever wondered why some people flourish and others do not? It is because they dig inside themselves before they attempt to do anything. Whether it is work, play, or just making friends, they have decided to be the best versions of themselves that they can be. Yeah, it is harsh to think you may not be the best version of who you can be. To do that, you have to go all the way back to when you were young and wide-eyed, when you decided who you were, what you wanted, and how you wanted to get it.

Be You
With peer pressure, be that positive or negative, being yourself can be hard to do. Not only is it hard to be yourself, but at times, it can be incredibly difficult to do the things that YOU want to do for YOURSELF. We have people in our lives, positive people, negative people, and neutral people, but they all have influences in one way or another on us as individuals. Here are five different ways that you can start to become a more independent individual and do the things that YOU want to do.
