Hello gents and lady-gents!

So I wrote a BUNCH of articles on Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, hoping it'll help people. But I have come to an afterthought... and that is my PCOS articles are scattered around my profile like rose petals in a garden. And that's not quite helpful. So I have written a book on the subject... or rather an article with links to every PCOS article that I have written.

Allow me to explain.

What is PCOS?

Obviously the first thing you want to know about Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome is... what the hell it is, right? PCOS? Alphabet Soup? Polycysta whatta syndrome? The link above will tell you exactly what PCOS is, how it works in the body, and a comprehensive list of all of the symptoms a woman may or may not suffer while she endures the lifelong health issue called Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.

Getting Diagnosed

It also helps if you know what kind of battle you're going to get into when you're trying to get a diagnosis for your PCOS. Back when I was younger and I first experienced my first ovarian cyst that burst, doctors didn't know dick about endocrine imbalances. I mean literally nothing.

Thankfully, now it's a lot better. But because of complications of doctors being trained to be jerks who think being fat is the cause of every problem on history, and have yet to grasp the concept that weight could be a SYMPTOM of something wrong with a person's body (even though thyroid disease has been around forever and it's basically the same thing in regards to the weight problem here...) it can be astonishingly hard to get a diagnosis and a doctor that cares enough to stand vigilant over your condition.

The article liked above, tells you exactly what to say and how to make sure your doctor is clued into your health. Hopefully, you already have a doctor that cares about you - if not it's time for a new one, my darlings.

How to Make Your Doctor Listen To You

And if your doctor is less than awesome or kind of a jerk - the link above this will tell you everything you need to know to get your doctor to listen.

And before you click it - understand that if my advice doesn't work and your doctor STILL doesn't help you after you've spoken them the right way, it's time for a new doctors because that means your current one is a shitbag.

Ways To Kickstart A Woman's Period

Because infertility, and missing periods and then bleeding out after missing those periods are all a vicious cycle of PCOS, and one of the ways to help your body recover and tame those symptoms is to have a period.... well I had to make an article that gave advice on that, didn't I?

The Science of PCOS Eating

The science of eating when you have an endocrine imbalance or a hormonal disruption can be frustrating. Especially when you've lived a whole life just eating whatever you want and how much you want.

Believe it or not, diet is a key source of managing polycystic ovarian syndrome. So much like people with diabetes, if you have developed PCOS, be prepared for your whole diet to change... if you want to feel better.

Treating PCOS

NOTHING about polycystic ovarian syndrome is an easy fix. Nothing. Not treatment and not getting diagnosed. It's a lot like managing diabetes, with some extra effort put in.

It's a lifelong thing. And while it does get better if you can get get to a physical point where your body decides to be happy - getting there is a journey. Which is why, if you want to know what you're in for to feel better... you should read the link above.

What to do if your partner has PCOS?

The first thing you do, if your partner is diagnosed with PCOS - you read every article linked in this article. Especially this one. And then you get ready for biological war on your woman's body, and prepare yourself mentally. If she isn't stubborn, or already severely depressed...it shouldn't be too hard...

Good luck friend... :)
