The Effects of Long-term Stress on Adolescents
Let's start off by stating what is stress. Stress is a physical, chemical, or emotional factor that causes bodily or mental tension. Stress is your body's way of responding to any kind of demand. It can be caused by both good and bad experiences. When people feel stressed by something going on around them, their bodies react by releasing chemicals into the blood.

Three Oil Discussion
Starting at the beginning of the alphabet, I will start by talking about Copaiba, DiGize, and Frankincense. Each of these has their own strengths that benefit the body in different ways. They may be singles or they may be blends, but each has ways to help the body be better. Note: I am not a doctor. These oils have not been approved as medicine by the FDA.

On Not Drinking Alcohol
Deciding to give up alcohol can feel like social suicide. Not only does it seem as if everyone around you drinks, but there can be a tendency for people to question your decision and to feel uncomfortable around your abstinence. Essential Oils Are Fantastic!
Hi there. Today I wanted to share with you the success that I have personally had using essential oils. But first some of you may ask what is an essential oil? Basically in a nutshell they are the aromatic compounds that for an example make a rose smell like a rose. They truly are great for enhancing one's health. When I first started looking into essential oils I was dealing with a pretty tough bout of depression. My husband is bipolar so he was constantly swinging between manic and depressant. He was being treated and nothing was working. Then in August of 2016 I started using essential oils. I was still pretty new at this but I started studying what would benefit us and how. Fast forward to November when I met the family that would sign me on with doTerra. She is a holistic doctor and she has a beautiful family.

Fighting the Cold Season
It's that time of the year again! Flu and cold season, where the sick days add up like the tissues on your nightstand. Some may wonder what more to do about it other than get flu shots, granted that they even work. Get some NyQuil and call it a night while it's still light outside? Or desperately drink Emergen-C before work and drag along at work on Sudafed wondering, isn't there a better way? Like many things, there is!

Something Happened at the Mall Today
Choose to walk out your front door today and deliberately decide that you're going to look for love happening to others instead of watching for negative things which may or may not happen to you. Let's face it, many of us do tend to walk around expecting to come in contact with negative people, places and things. But it simply doesn't have to be that way. It's not a healthy premise for us to walk through our day always on the verge of getting put off or being slighted by someone or something.

Riding the Lightning
I’m always told that I will get used to having epilepsy. But how can you get used to something that deep down has ruined your life? When I was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 18, I felt like my whole world had fallen apart, and to this day I still do. Before the diagnoses, I had all these dreams of what I wanted out of life: to be a mother, have a great job, and most importantly be happy. But that all changed. When that first seizure came, little did I know that my life would be changed forever.
