Why Gen X is the Worst Generation
I must say it appears that Gen X is the most annoying generation so far. I was born in the early 1970's so that means I am a Gen Xer and most of my generation are annoying, taking about a time that never existed. I thought the Baby Boomers and the Greatest Generation were annoying when I was a kid but Gen X takes the cake. They complain about Gen Z being weak, which I agree, but whose fault is that?

A Fine Export of Canadian Comedy
Our neighbors to the North have given so much to us they gave us this wildly raucous comedy troupe from Ontario, Canada The Kids in The Hall. The troupe was presented to the world through Saturday Night Live Creator Lorne Michaels who is also from Canada with their own half hour comedy show appropriately titled “The Kids in The Hall”. From day one nothing has been a taboo in their comedy and nothing has ever been off limits. I like that because if they think they can go for it and get away and do anything to push the envelope then they will sure try.

What Happened When I Saw a Black Bear
Yesterday, I passed by a black bear as I was hiking. He was leaning on a boulder, eating a rabbit for lunch. As I was passing him, he looked me straight in the eyes, with blood dripping from his mouth. He paused for a long time, silently staring into my soul.

A Very Honest Date. Top Story - December 2023.
The waitress was very fat and I did not like her hair, but she had a good attitude as she guided me to my seat. The restaurant was not full on a Friday, so I guessed that the concert next door was still on and that it would fill up with people who had terrible taste in music later (the group playing truly sucked). I knew that my name was on the reservation list, but I still had a twenty ready in case she gave me a hassle.

The BEST Funeral Ever
The king is dead, long live the king. He lay in repose in an orange taffeta lined casket, draped in multiple American flags. Garish? Yes. Unexpected, no. The bloom on his cheek, drawn on as in life. He smelt vaguely of fried chicken as a slight grease stain spread on the taffeta.

Christmas 2023: A Proctologist, A Nurse and AStrange Uber Driver - The Serial Reviewer
When reviewing a profession as important as the medical field, one would like to remain positive in one's tone… whilst stoically supporting those brave souls who have held our hands as we battled through life’s pandemic avalanche of ups and downs. Unfortunately, my ability to wish goodwill to all medical staff throughout this Christmas Celebration Season has been sorely tested.

I Don't Want Lunch, I Want Dinner!. Content Warning.
I was brought up with Breakfast, Dinner, Tea, and Supper. Today, I have a desperate dilemma! My children were brought up the same way, but now they are older; lunch has become tea, and dinner has become a mid-morning meal!

Preamble to the Constitution of the United Vegetables of the Refrigerator Crisper
Author’s note: A friend challenged me to rewrite the preamble to the US Constitution including the phrase “…in order to form a more perfect onion” which for some reason this friend found particularly hilarious. I thought it was kind of cute too and decided to accept the challenge. It was actually fairly difficult but I do like what I managed to come up with.
