The Signal
It was a sunny fall day in October 1923, an automobile chugs down a dirt road moving at a steady pace. At the same time a horse driven coach is headed towards the automobile from the right side. The automobile and the horse drawn coach collide causing a horrible accident at a corner intersection. At the intersection the horse is killed instantly, the car is damaged and it won’t crank, the carriage is turned over and people are injured, and stuff from the coach is scattered across the road. It took days to clean up after the accident. A witness to this accident was greatly grieved and very upset, he decided something had to be done. He pondered over the accident and why it happened and how this tragedy could not happen again.

Here’s your reminder that international wig day was the 10th of March and you missed it, yet again. A lot of you probably have no idea that this particular day in the calendar is reserved to wigs. International wig day is not just for the sake of wearing wigs and it’s probably not that famous because it’s been an international celebration since 2016, only 5 years ago!

Don't touch your face while you sleep!
Okay, so, this is a weird one. At first, I thought I was wrong. I thought, "Maybe it wasn't this". I thought maybe if I changed my diet for the better, maybe if I drank more water before going to bed, something would help. But no, it didn't help. So instead, another thought occured. "Hey! Why not test this theory out fully?" So, I plucked up the courage in order to see for myself. I tried this two or three different times on purpose, and I have to say this. Don't touch your face while sleeping!

Some People Can't Recognise Faces
We take a lot of things in our lives for granted, one of them being that we can recognise the people around us. Unfortunately, this is an ability not everyone has, specifically people with prosopagnosia, also called face blindness.

Of Libraries and Bad-Ass Librarians
True story. In the Sahara Desert in the mid 2000s, following the global chaos of the 9/11 terror attacks and in the wake of al-Qaeda and Isis insurgencies across much of the Sahel, the semi-arid African region that borders the southern edge of the world’s largest, most expansive desert, a small band of self-taught antiquarians and librarians vowed to hide priceless ancient Arabic texts written on parchment and bound in books, some dating back to the 15th century and earlier.

More (Un)Common Knowledge About TSA
Before we begin, I would like to let you know this is not the first submission I have made that covers this topic. But instead of making you scroll around looking for it, I added Part One (after fixing a couple of grammar oopsies and punctuation whoopsies) at the bottom of this submission. So, if you want to read them in order (it won’t make too much of a difference either way) then you can scroll on down there first and come back to see what other juicy tidbits I wanted to cover about the nation’s most despised government agency.
