Rosani was sleeping on a couch that was in the living room. How did she end up sleeping on a couch? Well, before that, she was living with her dad. She felt understood more by her dad than by her mom. She truly hated living in the basement with her mom's friend and son and because of that, she decided to spend her time at her dad's home. However, one day, Rosani got into a heated argument with her dad. Her dad told her she needed to follow the rules of his house and that she needed to find a full-time job instead of just sitting at home watching TikTok and being on Facebook. She ended up hitting her dad's PS4 which enraged him and made him slam his room door. Her face was lightly red from all her crying. This was their first ever huge fight; Rosani ended up going to live with her mom again, which she hated. She didn't hate her mom, she just hated living there because of the small room she and her mom had to be in. She was upset that her mom was getting charged $400 for such a tiny room. That room had no space for Rosani to dance around and the doorknob was pretty much useless.

One night, Rosani decided to sleep on the couch in the living room after coming home from work. However, something woke her up. Usually, she always wakes up in the middle of 3 AM or 5 AM. But she felt a force on her legs. She had asked herself if it was her mom's friend's granddaughter who was with her on that couch because on weekdays her granddaughter would be visiting. Rosani then grabbed her phone from the floor and then the guy who lived in the same house with her was leaning on top of her and without hesitation, she walked away not caring what the guy had said when she left. She got on the bed with her mom and slept.

The next morning, Rosani told her best friend what happened and she was disgusted by what she was hearing. She told Rosani to get locks on her door and to take precautions. Rosani kept quiet about what happened- at first- but then finally after about three weeks that passed, she told her mom. She told her mom and also told her not to mention anything to her friend. She had been confused about the situation. She was thinking what the hell was wrong with this guy; she never showed any interest in him and she was not friends with him. So, for him to out of the blue, attempt to sleep with her assuming she would agree, made her explode with anger. She had asked herself what would have happened if she really was asleep. Would he sexually assault her?

Her exact reasons for keeping quiet were, first: Moms, always defend their sons. Rosani was certain that the guy's mom would say that her son would never do that, or in the case that the guy's mom listened to everything she had to say and only listened more to the part where there was no sex involved, then she would say that it is not a big deal and that Rosani should get over it. Second, Rosani was worried about getting messages from the guy's family attacking her and blaming her instead of blaming him; she didn't want to deal with victim blaming.

After some time passed, Rosani and her dad spoke again and reconciled. She ended up living with him again. One day, while at a restaurant with her boyfriend, she ended up seeing the guy again. The last thing she did was roll his eyes at him and give him a dirty look. She wanted to make it clear that his actions were not forgotten and she hoped he knew he was a coward for not coming up to her to apologize.
