Get a Job
Someone posted "It's just that simple: Get a Job" the other day. It really stuck with me. It got me thinking of Capitalism in a slightly different light and I realized the true thing that is most reprehensible about Capitalism is what it does to people.

A Talk About Pure Free Market Capitalism
One of the biggest things we constantly hear about is Pure Free Market Capitalism. I thought I would take some time and talk about it. It is believed by mostly conservatives in every country that if Capitalists were free and not weighed down by taxes or regulations or even fees that eventually the world would be a far better place. Resources being used through the direction of the Capitalists would be developed to their fullest potential in the pursuit of maximizing profits. Capitalists would be able through seeking return on investments to improve the overall quality of life. As Capitalists move to fill various niches in order to earn a profit there will be those who answer the various environmental issues as well. In the end the nation will be prosperous and all will benefit greatly enjoying the effects of trickledown.

Lincoln, Hamilton, and Immigrants
In my opinion the Civil War did not occur when it did by accident. I believe that there is a reason it happened when it did because certain things had to be in place; in particular certain changes in the population were needed. Contrary to what many have been taught I believed that on its battlefields were left the remains of the United States.

Of Employees and Americans
She couldn’t help it. It stood out in a sea of business and business casual. She found herself drawn to the color of his t-shirt as the man meandered his way through the restaurant following the hostess. Well, it was not so much a color as it was the sum total of a variety of shading which gave the overall appearance of wearing an aged document. As he approached her and her table she was fascinated with how the sun light danced on and off the hues of his shirt when he came from the bright day light to the filtered of the pergola which covered the café seating. He continued to come closer to her and she could recognize the familiar calligraphy of the first three words of the constitutional preamble, “We the People.” As he continued to approach her she could make out the crimson spray paint graffito styled addition stating, “Are Pissed.” She was so captivated by the shirt she hadn’t realized he was headed to her.

2nd Amendment
Hey Evan, I hope all is well. Today I would like to talk about a thought I had. Not too long ago a group wanted to have a peaceful protest not at but near our county’s courthouse which is about a mile from where I am living. In response to this protest which was being carried out by liberals a group of men surrounded the courthouse armed with their assault rifles. It seems this group had been told that these protesters wished to attack our courthouse. They spent the night walking about the courthouse fulfilling what they perceived as their patriotic duty and possibly fueling their testosterone needs. While the protest was at the place they had originally scheduled which was a block away at the town square.

Profitable War
In his book, “Nineteen Eighty-Four,” George Orwell places the entire story against the backdrop of an endless war. According to Emmanuel Goldstein, a former partner of Big Brother and now enemy of the state, this is a purposely created non-ending war with either Eastasia or Eurasia in different combinations for mutual benefits of all three belligerents. Sometimes Winston Smith’s nation, Oceania, is in alliance with Eastasia fighting Eurasia; sometimes it is Oceania was in allied with Eurasia fighting Eastasia. There were also times when Eastasia and Eurasia teamed up on Oceania. Truth is it never really mattered.
