Don’t look for love.
Be love.
i want to throw my head back in the purple sky, the tendrils of my hair catching the stars. i want to see the sun

i was steady until you swept me off my feet and i sprouted wings. we rode on the galaxies laid on the moon as the world
you kiss my cracks to plant seeds in my barren heart - (a flower blooms). your tongue bleeds life into my parched mouth
o king less kingdom - the one who lies upon the mountain top. the one conquered by rivers of blood crossed by aching legs

your fingers know my body but you do not call on my birthday. your tongue knows mine but you do not know the words i speak.
in my horizons i look for sunsets - blazing fires that will take me down. under my sky on my stars i wish for magic -
water, scalding water on my skin. your lips burn like a thousand flames. tiny beads drop into oceans of sweat.
i put the shards of my heart you shattered at your feet to show you look this is what you made of me. but the one
i lost you but i never had you, i needed you, but i never wanted to. i want to say i miss you: it is both a confession
i thought in you i could escape from me, from the loudness in my head and the silence in my heart. i thought i could
what do you call the silence you do not hear anymore, vases you do not need to fill and the empty bed you sleep in
shoved my fingers through the dirt faster to bury the way you made my heart stop and race all at the same time.
