Unbalanced Comfort Zone
My brother catches insects who try to find solace in our home. His heart for all things living is non-judgemental and non-bias. Sweet darling insect, let me hold your hand and lead you outside. Gosh, sounds overly considerate! This one overgrown-looking mosquito he captured into a glass to release outside. Only Mr. Insect’s flight to freedom was overthrown with a U-turn mid-flight into the glass! Funny that.

Aura gods
The warm light calls from the tunnel's end. Dusty skies and sandy ground, fill the auditorium, like the coliseum of ancient times. An arena sets the stage for one final battle. The crowd erupts in screams, cheers, and chants. Aaaaah-leeeeah-ra, ALEERA, ALEERA. Is this bloodshed worth it, as a final note to the end of war? She is carried by confident strides.

Slingshot to Freedom
I remember it like it was yesterday, watching leaves fall, as vehicles zipped by on the motorway. Like everything else had a place to go, a purpose to adhere to, but me. Perhaps OCD, she always sits the fourth row back, furthest left. Hiding behind thick brown curls and green glasses. Leaning into her fisted hand. School’s barely been back a week and already slogged with a presentation piece. How this will aid our future I do not know or care. With the pandemic on the loose, the only preparation we can manage is keeping things unstructured.

My Tribe, My People, My Heroes.
To my Tribe, my heroes. You know who you are, this is my tribute to you! First and Foremost, Mum. Thank you, Mum, dearly for not only being my maternal parent. Sweet compassion, like a chocolate block mixed with the comfort of jumping into a pile of cushions. Even if I didn’t know you as my mother, I would seek to learn your wisdom ways.

Purus: Unleashed
Chapter 1 His eyes darted wildly. The smokiness filled the car cavity. While the rampant driver now a fading dot. An encounter that certainly wouldn’t have helped. The darkened clouds began to camouflage with the asphalt. A deep heaviness all around. Again, glancing at the boy for answers.

Diamond Transparency
Not too long ago I would wear a mask to cope with the onslaught of human interaction known better as socialization. Welcome to the life of an introvert struggling to realize their place in the world. Come for an adventure, a walk in my small-sized shoes that travel a distance.
