unexpected gifts
You open the door to go get the paper and you see a drone approaching with package wrapped in brown paper. You go get the paper and pick up the package. When you get it inside you start to inspect it. You notice that it doesn’t have a mailing label on it. You decide to open it. What is inside is a surprise. It is a little stuffed teddy bear. You look in the bottom of the box and see a note. It says I have admired you from afar and wanted to show my appreciation. You think this sweet but are also wondering who could have left it. You live in the country with a long driveway.

Old Barn
When you grow up in the country there are a lot of old barns around. We grew up where our family owned the dirt road we lived on. Thousands of acres owned by two people. That was a long time ago. Fast forward to today and most of the land is sold. We still have about 100 acres that different family members live on. There are a couple of old barns on the property.

True Passion
How do you find your true passion? It took me a long time to realize what mine was. I have always been good at writing. The one catch was I could not write poems. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't write them. Then one day something just clicked. I finally figured out how to write them. I don't have a traditional style. I have my own style of writing.
