Kyleena Turned me into an Angry Shrek
I used Kyleena for about 9 months, and a non hormonal IUD for about 7 years. I opted for my first IUD after I had my second child, and it was implanted two months after his birth. The procedure was uncomfortable, but not painful. Remember however, that eight weeks prior I had just passed a human, so my perception may have been a bit skewed. Big ole human.... Big ole Texan human.... Oh the flashbacks...

Another sunrise in North America. Fuzzy vision met with the subtle call from a small dead screen on the side table. What is the date? What time is it? An anonymous spine fuses to the coils shaping the mattress. Consciousness returns, in lieu of life. Another day.

How To Run a Marriage into the Ground
To begin, you need to set a good, strong base for failure. Take absolutely no psychological inventory from this point forward. Go on and bring all that baggage right up, just beneath the surface. Make sure any tears produced upon reminiscing on childhood are ignored or extinguished by laugher. Do not work on your relationship with your father. Don't work on forgiving your family for any past misunderstandings. You're going to need all of these unraveled ends and gaping wounds to hastily construct something resembling affection in your romantic relationships.

Our Mothers of Color. Top Story - July 2017.
My mother was born of a woman who did not keep her. One of many siblings, my mother was supposedly the only child her mother decided she could not keep. She was adopted into a very well off, heavily educated Black and Native family, a family that never officially revealed to her that she was adopted.
