Tourism in Carmel, CA
I adore Carmel because it is so walkable. You can park the car and part ways with it for much of the weekend. It is in some ways the jewel of Monterey County. The downtown is full of tasting rooms, it is easy to get to the beach and there are some great restaurants. And the hiking at Pt. Lobos State Park offers some astounding views.

You Can Surf in the Great Lakes?
A powerful crescendo grew until the momentum became too much to contain and it ruptured with a thunderous crash. As I stood on the shore, I listened to wave after wave break in the vast body of water that spread from the tips of my toes all the way to the opposite horizon. For as long as I could remember, on days when rain clouds filled the sky and wind filled the air, I had stood on that shore and watched the waves crash. But this time was different. This time, the waves were inviting me to have an adventure. And so it began as I paddled out on my surfboard.

Roaring Camp Railroad
If you are looking for a fun family adventure in the Santa Cruz area, look no further than the Roaring Camp Railroad. The adventure begins as you travel back in time to the old west. You arrive to the camp through a beautiful covered bridge. At the end of the bridge, there are many old buildings and artifacts that represent an era that many find adventurous, the Wild West.

Holiday Highlights 2017
In terms of travelling, 2017 has been an okay year for me. My main big holiday this year was the four day trip around Europe in July. I stayed at the Ibis hotel near Amsterdam Central Station and travelled around using the trains and buses and also by foot.

When we think of "Siberia," most people form a false impression of the place. Whether you intend to pay a fleeting visit or settle there and morph into the background, at least you will be able to tell the difference between fact and fiction. Let us discover why this awesome location remains so unknown and shrouded in mystery.

Eyes Down: Numberplate Bingo Across 24 Countries
The quest ended on a Balkan road as a car darted across my taxi in the cheeky traffic of the congested city of Prizren. I glimpsed very little except the numbers of the registration plate which flashed past me like a small chorus line of tadpoles — 999.

Ghoul Times in Portland Oregon
Halloween, the ancient Celtic holiday that marked the end of the harvest and transition to winter, was originally called the “bridge to the world of the dead.” This “bridge,” and all its Halloween horror, isn’t confined to Celtic lore anymore. It’s waiting for travelers looking for a new road trip idea aside from fall foliage. And it's waiting for them in Portland, Oregon.

A Visit To Gates Town Park
Sometimes in my travels I find myself with nothing to do. No restaurants I want to dine at. No attractions I want to visit. Just do nothing more than relax. I have found usually the best way to spend this time is a little walk down memory lane. This was how, my friends, I found myself going down a short stretch of road that shot me out into Gates town park.

Mystery Spot
Just outside Santa Cruz, California amongst the massive redwoods there is a little known place called The Mystery Spot. The place sets itself apart from time, urbanization, and gravity. Yes, gravity. A short hike up the mountain side sits a small cabin that defies one of the greatest forces in the universe. How is that possible? It is a Mystery.
