An Open Letter to Roseanne Barr
Dear Roseanne, The new season of The Conners has spurred me to write to you. I've been so upset with you ever since the reboot of your self-titled show. You see, I grew up with you as a secondary mother. Your television family was a reflection of my family, and your parenting lessons echoed my mother's. You were the first feminist woman I saw blazing a path with no regard to those she upset. You were revolutionary to girls of my age.

Laws Every Woman Should Be Aware Of
Women have a different experience when facing the world and its many different threats. Sexual harassment, rape, arrest, and domestic violence are all issues that keep women’s senses heightened, simply because they are women. They cannot defend themselves in the same way men can, which is why there are laws every woman should be aware of.

Why the Victims Don't Speak Out
There has been a lot of publicity about historical cases of abuse in the news over recent years and this movement is gathering momentum. That is great to see. Those who commit acts of abuse should absolutely be made to face the consequences of their actions. One thing I can't help but notice is that in every case there seems to be a lot of people in the online space who question the truthfulness of those who come forward to make abuse public on the grounds that those victims didn't speak out immediately after the incident, or during the process of it, if the abuse was long term.

10 Signs You're Dating a Red Piller
Once in a blue moon, people will see a philosophy that is so toxic, it's incompatible with having healthy relationships. It's rare, but it happens. Sadly, it also happens with increasing frequency now that most people get their love and life advice from the internet.

I Tested the KegelSmart by Intimina. Here's Why I Love It.. Created with: INTIMINA.
I remember when I gave birth to my daughter. I was worried about a lot of things, and had a lot of questions on my mind. I worried that she’d be unhealthy, or that I would end up being unable to be the parent I needed to be. Most people already knew that I was concerned about that, and had no problem acting as a confidante for me when I was freaking out.

10 Classic Feminist Books You Should Read
In the 20th and 21st century, women writers have begun to speak up and truly make their voices heard. Classic feminist books have won the Pulitzer Prize and become bestsellers across the United States as both men and women have embraced the women’s movement and sexual politics as a whole. Young women, women of color, and women writers of all races and backgrounds are taking the stage and letting their creativity flow. Some of the most notable feminist literary authors such as Mary Wollstonecraft, Alice Walker, Kate Millett, and Simone de Beauvoir paved the way for more recent generations of feminist writers. There is an endless list of excellent literary works out there, but here are some of our favorite classic feminist books we think you should read!

Why Women Need to Stop Tearing Down Other Women
We are in a scary and exciting time right now for women. With all the movements and people coming out to tell their story, it feels as if women are taking steps in the right direction. It is not like we are asking for anything crazy, either. We merely want to be looked at as equal, to be able to wear what we want, and to not have a fear of being molested or sexually harassed everywhere we turn. The only problem I have with all of this is that, while we are asking for others to treat us better, we are still tearing down other women.

The Only Female Comic in the Room
To the men that I share the stage with, know that I don't hate all of you. Some of you are very, very funny and I admire your work. I would even go as far as to say that I would be honored to collaborate with you someday, if you will have me of course. You know what? I think some of you are up there with George Carlin! Dave Chappelle! Bill Burr! Joan Rivers—oh, sorry, of course not... Steve Martin!
