Whispers from the darkness seep.

Moonlight flickers, pale and cold,

Tales of terror, ancient and old.

Beneath the floorboards, soft and slow,

A chilling heartbeat starts to grow.

Echoes of the past, restless, rise,

Ghostly figures with hollow eyes.

Windows rattle, doors creak wide,

Specters beckon from inside.

Lurking phantoms, breath so near,

Frozen hearts consumed by fear.

A howl splits the silent air,

A nightmare born of pure despair.

In the mirror, faces twist,

Evil's touch, a cold, dark kiss.
