In shadows deep where moonlight fades,

A whisper stirs, a fear invades.

Through ancient halls where ghosts reside,

The haunting chill you cannot hide.

The air is thick with mournful cries,

Of souls that never met the skies.

Their spectral forms in moonlit mist,

A chilling touch, a phantom's kiss.

The creak of floors, the wail of wind,

The secrets dark that walls have pinned.

A mirror's gaze with eyes of dread,

Reflects the souls that lie there, dead.

In corners dark, the shadows play,

A dance of fear to night’s dismay.

The breath you feel upon your neck,

A fleeting touch, a ghostly peck.

A door ajar, a silent scream,

The line 'tween waking, twisted dream.

In horror’s grasp, you lose your way,

Till dawn’s first light can end the fray.

But in the night, when silence falls,

Beware the call from ancient halls.

For horror lurks where shadows creep,

And in its grip, no soul can sleep.
