What we forgot

Resurrection

By Gregory AndersonPublished 3 months ago 1 min read

Integrity and honor

We see society pays the cost

Simple to understand what we lost

Humanity must be reminded

What we forgot

With a clinical eye

We judge each other

Unable to see

We are sisters and brothers

Teaching indifference

That spreads one to another

Civility and courtesy we have not

We suffer because of what we forgot

Lessons learned have washed away

For many speak with nothing to say

Often we hear I feel like this or I feel like that

When is clear it’s forgiveness we have forgot

We are a world divided by geography and soil

Harvesting fruit of the world that is already spoil

We must turn one to another and see the humanity in each other

Without it we fell lost another part of what we have forgot

Looking into the eyes of the young how shall we justify what our world has become

We have all been shown a clue and we know what is the key

We must respect and restore love for all of humanity

If we are all blessed to see another day resurrection is the way

inspirational
