Speak to you

Inner being

By Gregory AndersonPublished 5 months ago Updated 5 months ago 1 min read

Speak to you

The you that you are seeing

Speak loud and proud to you

Your inner being

Come to the intersection

Titled stress and strife

Only to realize it’s a part of life

Seasons seem to come without reason

As our choices in our lives can seem like treason

We may escape once or even often

There is no denying seed time and harvest

Still as we navigate this life’s trauma and pain

Situations come and derail on the way to truth

When you have to speak to you

Come to a gentle refrain you speak life affirming affirmations again and again

It’s been said there is nothing new under the sun

Life and death are in the power of the tongue

Insights of life do not require any guessing

From the moment you awake you receive this blessing

The task appointed is to speak to you

Reveal in this life the best version of you

Our way through is not to focus on the pain

Navigate to the road where we learn to live again

Lessons tested tried and true

Look inward and speak to you
